My new dish
The Sloppy Joe is a diner classic and favorite among schools and families alike.
We start with 100% ground Angus beef, add onions and our home-made 66 rich tomato based sauce piled high on a sesame seed bun! Includes zesty pickle chips and a bag of Great Lakes Chips!
Add slices of red onion, lettuce and tomato to change it up!
According to legend, a cook named Joe at Floyd Angell’s café in Sioux City, Iowa, added tomato sauce to his “loose meat” sandwiches. Some believe this is how the sloppy Joe sandwich was born.
